Capstone: Windward
Graphic Design Capstone/Senior Project of 2014. For this project, I wanted to use my skills in creating a safe and welcoming environment for people who seek assistance in their personal and professional lives. Windward: Support and Guidance Center is a non-profit organization aimed at guiding and supporting individuals through certain paths in their personal or professional lives. The center offers a variety of social services from personal counseling, coaching, and it also aids in certain aspects of one's education or career. Windward is a place to learn, to grow, and to develop. The center consists of highly trained professionals and all information is confidential. Visitors to the center will build relationships built upon mutual trust and respect. At the Windward Center our aim is to improve one's quality of life as well as to give teens, adults, and people with disabilities a chance to gain more control over their own lives. Services will be provided according to their needs and requests. Our vision is to teach, help one grow, and walk by one's side through their journey in life. Not only will one grow to be an independent individual, but one will also have a better understanding of one's self, their life, and their dreams.
